Transversal thread T3
Reinvent
Learning, unlearning, pivoting
Definition
Acquiring new competencies quickly, abandoning what no longer works, reading the weak signals of your ecosystem and adjusting your trajectory — in an environment where tools, formats and platforms are renewed faster than careers. The meta-competency of the creator era: the one that keeps all the others alive.
Components
- Self-directed learning: setting an objective, finding resources, practising, obtaining feedback
- Unlearning: identifying and abandoning reflexes that have become counterproductive
- Learning in public: documenting your progress and turning it into creative material
- Reading weak signals: detecting shifts in your ecosystem early
- The decision to pivot: explicit criteria, the courage to execute, an honest review
- Long-term trajectory: roadmap, scenarios, criteria for revision
The four levels
- N1 Discovery Lower secondary · complete beginner
Is able to learn a new creative skill on their own from online resources.
Evidence of assessment
Demonstrate a new capacity acquired independently, presenting the resources and the steps followed.
- N2 Application Upper secondary · advanced beginner
Is able to conduct a structured learning process and to document it.
Evidence of assessment
Have acquired a significantly new competency within the last six months, with the learning process documented.
- N3 Adaptation Tertiary · junior professional
Is able to detect a loss of momentum, to decide on a change of trajectory and to execute it.
Evidence of assessment
Document a pivot carried out: signals detected, decision criteria, execution, review.
- N4 Orchestration Experienced professional
Is able to build a twelve- to thirty-six-month trajectory with scenarios, and to pivot before circumstances force it.
Evidence of assessment
Produce a twelve-month roadmap with three scenarios and decision criteria, and document a pivot decided on a weak signal.
