Competency 5.1
Co-create in a team
Boundary everything that involves others — peers, rights holders, audiences, communities. The economic dimension of partnerships (negotiation, contracts) belongs to the Monetise domain.
Definition
Contributing effectively to collective creative projects, then coordinating them: distribution of roles, a culture of feedback, working rituals, shared documentation. Collective creation obeys learnable rules, which turn a sum of individuals into a common work.
Components
- Roles and responsibilities: who decides what, who does what, who signs off
- Feedback: giving useful, precise criticism, receiving it without bristling, sorting the responses
- Rituals and tools: progress checkpoints, shared spaces, common conventions
- Versioning and documentation: keeping a record, allowing someone else to take over
- Coordinating heterogeneous contributors: peers, freelancers, suppliers
- Handling creative disagreement: deciding without crushing
